The past month has been crazy busy in terms of my personal life. I got a lot done with Merch but I’m not sure if it paid off. You can be the judge of that. Here is my March 2025 Amazon Merch on Demand Income Report:
March 2025 Income Report
In March 2025, I made $72.68 with 14 sales and 1 return for a total of 13 sales. I have 500 designs uploaded to 7,655 products. I sold 9 unique designs across only 2 products in March – 13 standard t-shirts and 1 tank top. The return was a standard t-shirt. I also only sold to the United States in March.
When it comes to advertising in March, I spent $34.38, made 7 sales and had an ACOS of 23.24%. The ACOS is OK but it’s twice as high as last month and my spending was also twice as much as in February. One reason for the big jump in advertising cost is that I started advertising my top 5 t-shirt designs individually. Those new campaigns have an average ACOS of 23% while my lottery campaign has an ACOS of just 12.1%. I’m hoping the ACOS on these new campaigns will go down as I tweak things.

My income for March was almost identical for February despite spending more on advertising. I think if I’m going to grow my Merch on Demand income, I really need to purge the old, non-selling designs and upload some new, fresh designs in non-competitive niches.
What Did I Do In March?
I got one of my two goals completed. I created ad campaigns for my top 5 best-selling designs. Those ads brought a lot more sales but didn’t really increase income. That was the original goal of the ads because I needed to get more sales to tier up. However, Amazon just rolled out some new rules for Merch which will change things significantly. I’ll publish a post in a few weeks that addresses these changes and how I plan to change my plans for Merch.
Goals for April 2025
- Create 3 new designs.
Since I posted this income so late and there is only a few days left in April, I’m only going to post 1 goal for April. I want to create 3 new designs for Merch. I’m not going to upload them yet but I want to have them ready for May when I start replacing old designs. These 3 new designs will be in the niche I choose for my marketing strategy. As I mentioned earlier, I will be publishing a post on Amazon’s new changes to the Merch program, what I think about these changes and how these changes affect both my marketing strategy and my plan for growing my Merch account. I’m leaving for a two week vacation tomorrow but I’ll try to get this new post published by next weekend along with my April income report (yes, I’m planning on doing some work while on vacation).
