June 2025 – Amazon KDP Income Report

June was a busy month for me and seemed to fly by. July has been the same way but I was busy in a different way. I just returned from 3 glorious weeks in Alaska, Canada and Seattle. I had so much fun but now it’s time to get back to business and get ready for Q4. I really want to get to $1k a month before the end of the year. I think I can do it if I work really hard over the next 2-3 months to upload as many books as possible. Here’s my June 2025 Amazon KDP Income Report.

June 2025 Income Report

In June 2025, I sold 126 books for a total of $327.35 in royalties. I published 5 books in June. I started the month with 47 books in my bookshelf and ended the month with 52 books. My bookshelf contains 35 coloring books, 3 log books, 12 scrapbook paper pads and 2 journals. I sold 12 coloring books (70), 8 scrapbook paper pads (50) and 2 log books (6).

June 2025 KDP Revenue

I did pretty good on advertising in June, however, I spent a lot more money than I normally do. I spent a whopping $44.92 and the ACOS was 1% higher than in May at 13.02%. That’s still a great ACOS! I had 446 clicks and 32 orders. My average cost per click was just $0.10 which was the same as last month.

June 2025 KDP Advertising

Total Amazon KDP Income for June 2025: $282.43

Previous Month’s Earnings

May: $229.27
April: $239.04
March 2025: $151.87
February 2025: $203.69
January 2025: $213.79

You are probably wondering how I made so much more money in June when I sold the exact same number of books. It’s because I raised the price of all of my books to $9.99 so the profits per book are a lot higher now. As you can see, it didn’t seem to slow the number of sales. In fact, it helped increase sales for some of the books. For example, a log book that I uploaded almost 2 years ago that had never sold before suddenly started selling after I increased the price. I sold 2 of them in June and I’ve sold 3 of them so far in July. That’s just so weird to me!

What Did I Do In June?

In June, I didn’t get 15 books published but I did mange to get 5 coloring books published. One of them has already sold. I also added A+ content to all of the new coloring books. Unfortunately, I didn’t reach my goal of getting A+ content added to 2 journals.

Goals for July 2025

  • Publish 5 books
  • Add A+ content to 1 journal

Since there is only a week left in July, I’m going to try to get 5 books published for the month. I submitted one coloring book for review today and I think I can get one published per day. If not published due to Amazon’s 3 books in review at a time limit, I can at least get the drafts ready to go. I would also like to get the A+ content added to one of my journals.

Overall, I’m extremely happy with how I did in June. I didn’t quite get to my goals of publishing 15 books and adding A+ content to 2 journals, but I made some progress. I’m hoping to get a lot more books published in August & September. The success of Q4 depends on how much work I get done in these summer months. My goal is to have a bookshelf that has at least 150 books published by Q4. That’s 100 books in 2-3 months. It sounds like a lot and may not be possible but I’m going to try.
