Despite not working on my Amazon MOD business in over a year, it’s doing quite well. I’ve been averaging just over 11 sales a month and a royalty of $47 a month. Not bad for a completely passive income. But I want more. I still think I can reach my ultimate goal of $1500 a month.

A few things I noticed looking at the stats. First of all, I only sold products in the United States. I don’t know if that’s because I’m not advertising in other countries or I don’t have enough of my designs listed in other countries. Whatever the reason, it needs to change. I need to start selling in other countries if I want to increase my income.
Second, I’ve only sold 30 of my designs. That’s a meager 6% of designs that have sold. Supposedly, Amazon wants you to sell 80% of your designs before they will tier you up. I have a long way to go if I want to get tiered up to T1000.

Marketing has been going pretty well with the exception of June which has a really high ACOS. Hopefully that gets better before the end of the month.

Overall, I think these are good numbers but they could be better. I really need to replace most of my designs with better designs that will actually sell. I also need to publish my designs in other countries and advertise in other countries. If I can get to 80% of my designs sold and get tiered up to T1000, then I should be able to easily make my goal of $1500 a month.
Yearly Goal Recap
Just as a reminder, here are the goals I made for 2026 in my 2025 year in review post:
- Add 25 new designs – These 25 new designs are going to be in a specific niche which will make them easier to advertise on Instagram.
- Tier up to T1000
- Start advertising internationally
- Complete the marketing plan that I came up with in 2024
- Fill all design slots in T1000
I still think I can complete these goals but some of them will be extremely difficult, particularly getting to T1000 and filling all of the slots. I’m going to try because if you don’t try, then you are guaranteed to fail (can’t remember who said that but some wise person).
June & July Amazon Merch On Demand Goals
- Publish 5 new designs – These 5 new designs are going to be related to the niche I choose in my 2024 marketing plan.
- Review the 2024 marketing plan and make any changes that are needed
- Start advertising in a country other than the US
These goals should be easy to complete as long as I don’t forget about them. That’s my biggest problem. I make goals and then forget that I made them. I’m going to write these goals down in my daily planner so I remember them and can plan to work on them each day.
I’m going to try to do a monthly income report at the beginning of August. I leave for vacation on August 5 but that should give me enough time to get something posted before I leave. Have a great summer everyone and take some time to enjoy it!
